I was born and brought up in the magnificient city of Mumbai. After graduating from High School in May 2001, I took up Electronics Engineering offered by Mumbai University, India. I graduated from Mumbai University in May 2005. Upon graduation I was offered a job to work as a Business analyst at Synygy India Pvt Ltd. After working at Synygy for almost a year, I decided to pursue advanced studies and joined the Information Technology and Management graduate program at Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago. Upon completion of the 1st year in the graduate school I was offered an internship with Bantix Technologies LLC.
I was awarded with Dean's Honors for "Highest Standard's in Academic
Achievement" on graduation from IIT with "Master's of Information Technology and
Management" degree in Dec 2007. Since graduation I have been working as a

, I use Microsoft .Net platform for database development, web development and integration of off the shelf software products for management of Motorola cell phone software systems. This includes requirements creation, elicitation and refinement, implementation, testing and documentation of designs. Additionally I am also responsible for customer training and support, defect repair, definition and development of operational reports for use by end-users.

LLC, I use Microsoft .Net platform to develop and provide clients with effective, leading-edge technology solutions that fosters the growth and success of their businesses. The internship exposed me to software development lifecycle (SDLC) and its underlying fundamentals - understanding a business, analyzing its requirements and implementing the technology to supplement those requirements. Effective project management is key to delivering these solutions on schedule and within budget.

As a Business Analyst with Synygy,
I worked in a team to mange incentive compensation plans of US based pharmaceutical companies. My responsibilities included understanding the client’s incentive compensation plan, supplementing the IC plan requirements by designing and implementing the IC plan in SYNYGY Enterprise Incentive Management software and generating and analyzing MS Excel based reports to provide feedback and consultation to the client.
Personal|Interests:
Besides being involved in day-to-day professional activities, I also spend time helping my juniors at IIT with their curriculum. I also worked as a Teaching assistant for one professor at my graduate school.
As a hobby I enjoy swimming, playing cricket and lawn tennis. My friends and I are regular at our school’s gym. I also enjoy watching Formula 1 and follow each season closely.
